It has been a great week for me here at Damon Bell Photography and Drone Services!
Let’s see, Saturday I did a photoshoot with a professional model and it could not have gone any better, for the most part. Lol. (Always gotta bitch about something!) The model, Jaclyn Smith, was beyond amazing. I didn’t have to say a word pretty much the whole time. She knew what she was doing and it was better than I could have hoped for.
The whole photoshoot was for the Rubber Duck Army, I think it’s called. Basically a guy tapes money to the bottoms of rubber duckies and leaves them around town. You find a duck and you just found some cash. Pretty neat idea if you ask me. Just doing a good deed for goodness’ sake I suppose.
After the insanely hot photoshoot (both the model and the temperature!) I went to a wedding where I was hired to film from the air and the ground. The drone filming went very well IMO and there are a few things to iron out as far as on the ground filming. Ordered a new tripod to help out with a lot of that, should be here Thursday.
Customer seems extremely happy with the videos and pics I produced. Even gave me a tip! So thank you and congrats to Travis and Kresta and thanks for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
Spent all day Sunday working on the videos and pics and I think we got some really good stuff out of both events. I should be making a page for the photoshoot soon on my portfolio page. Check back soon to see that, you won’t be disappointed.

Last night I had another photoshoot for a buddy of mine’s band. I think we got some pretty decent shots. If they had stayed about 5-10 minutes longer the golden rays from the sun would have been perfect! Alas. Have another shoot with a model scheduled for Thursday. Hope it works out. May have another shoot on Saturday but it looks like I’ll be otherwise engaged that day with some Pathfinder. Hey, gotta have priorities, right?
Almost forgot, went down to the courthouse today and filed for my Sole Proprietor business whatever thing so I am almost officially official! Speaking of, that means I need to go to the IRS website. Glad I just accidentally reminded myself!
